About us
SI Design is a detail oriented architecture and design firm founded in 1997. Projects range from new construction to additions and alterations in both the residential and commercial sectors. Our staff has completed projects in NYC, Westchester, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, and Australia. Sid Schlomann, AIA, Principal of the firm is licensed in NY and CT.
Originally from Brazil, Sid Schlomann studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City. He is a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, a Registered Architect in NY State and Connecticut and is a Professional Member of the American Institute of Architects. He is a former faculty member at Parsons, NYU and Pratt Institute. Sid also served on the advisory committee for The Institute for Biomimmicry. With vast experience in the government and private sectors, Sid brings a wealth of knowledge in the design and sustainability fields to each and every project.

Claire Harris is a graduate from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. She is currently working towards licensure in Architecture. Claire brings a wealth of knowledge in engineering related fields to the firm and she is excited to be part of the SI Design team.
